Sleep
It helps clearing your mind a lot. If you ever feel upset, or happy, after you sleep, you will feel a lot more peaceful, a lot number. More like, it snaps you back into reality. It calms you down, makes you more grounded. But I know that is not the case sometimes.
I believe the reason why we are calmer in the morning is because of the hormone. But who am I to say anything about medical. Doing quick research about the topic shows that the cortisol and serotonin level rise by the end of your sleep cycle to make you feel awake [1]. I guess it was because your system was shut down so everything cooled off for a while, then it starts again when you start to wake up.
On another topic, some of your problems may not be able to be solved,
because they are unchangeable. How other people act, the way life is, and so
on, are some examples of unchangeable things. Sometimes, there is just no workaround. Then, the only thing you can
change, the only thing you can affect to make things easier for you, is to
change your way of thinking, the way your eyes see things. And to do that, you
may need to discard your old self, the notion you have learned so far, the experience you have gathered. But doing just
that is very, very hard. Say, why would you want to do that? All the
things you have earned, have they of no use anymore? Or perhaps you had only
mistaken them for something else that you should have learned instead? Either way, you need to set aside the
preconceived notions that conflict with the things you need to do to achieve your goal, or you can never achieve them, if that is the way life is. Accept that it is the cost to achieve your goal, and that cost is mandatory. If it is still not worth it, consider just what your goal truly is, how is it meaningful to you. Nothing is your enemy, it is just the way things are. It is what it is, so to say. Find your true purpose, fight your true battle.
They say you can know who a person is like through their friends. I have friends who are not very satisfied with their lives. Although they want to change, they do not know how. Some of them are very much down in their spirals of life, and they do not even want to change. They do not realize that they need to. Even though, they constantly in pain and whine about it. Yet, I still want to hangout with them. I want to help them, perhaps I pity them, perhaps it is for myself. I need some inspiration to get out of my own spiral.
The environment very much affects how we see things, too.

Looking at b and d in the above photo, b seems to be in a darker shade
than d, but in fact they are of the same shade of grey. The way we see things is
also very much affected by the context those things are in, and our state at
the time, namely is it sunny or rainy that day, how tired/energetic we are,
etc. All those little things are the context in which we see what we see, and unknowingly
to us they affect tremendously on how we perceive things. Then, the obvious solution
to boost happiness is to try to create the happiest environment for the things
we are supposed to see. Or perhaps should I say to create a meaningful environment. Then, our struggles with have a meaning.
This concludes today’s blog. I hope to give you some positive inspiration.
For me, I hope to keep this habit of “racking my brain up” every
week. I can see many benefits doing this, and you can see them too. I am not really a keen reader, so I probably will have to force myself to read thoughts that are not mine, I am selfish and ignorant like that. But I hope I will see myself reading and contemplating about your thoughts, as I hope you would do the same with mine.
P/s: Let us keep this in bitesize. 500 words.
